I just finished reading
"My Year of Meats" by Ruth Ozeki (
www.ruthozeki.com) ... She is one of my favorite authors. I also read "
All Over Creation", her second book. I was lucky to meet Ruth at a book club at my yoga center last year (
OM Yoga), and felt blessed to have met a real genius. Her books are kinda hard to describe, because they weave together so many things, but they are about love, about America, about traveling, about the food industry, and more.. they are imbued with a deep spirituality and sensitivity to how our minds work, and are able to portray even her more creepy characters in a compassionate way.
